Dear Editor, Recently, we read with great interest the article titled "Effect of hesperidin on neurobehavioral, neuroinflammation, oxidative stress and lipid alteration in intracerebroventricular streptozotocin induced cognitive impairment in mice" by Hayate et al. [1], who concluded that the mechanisms of hesperidin's therapeutic effects on cognitive impairment are probably associated with the modulation of acetylcho-line esterase activity (AChE), thiobarbituric acid reactive substances and the inflammatory response. We appreciate this study and would like to present our opinion of it.
