CIS exporters of slabs and fats achieve higher contract prices

Suppliers of fat steel products and slabs from the CIS revised prices upwards amid stronger demand in Turkey and Asia. Additional support for sellers was provided by the situation in the raw materials market. While in the slab segment, manufacturers have managed to achieve target levels and close sales with a signifcant increase in prices, upward steps in the HRC market are still being met by buyers with caution.
