CIS slabs exporters have achieved an increase in transaction prices for January and February material, backed by steady export demand, upward sentiments in the segment for flats and somewhat lower supply. For instance, supply of February material from one of Russian mills is said to halve because of scheduled repairs. As a result, the seller has already closed its February order book.
