Dai Nippon Printing to Build Photomask Plant in Taiwan

Dai Nippon Printing has decided to invest about RMB20 bn (174 mn) in a new photomask plant in Taiwan - its sixth such plant worldwide - to supply products for the fabrication of 300-mm wafers with 65-nanometer line width,mainly to semiconductor device makers in Taiwan and Singapore.The move will help it to reinforce its business in the Asian region,which makes up one third of the global photomask market.
