LNG Carrier ‘Marvel Crane’ Arrives at Cameron Terminal

According to a shipping report, LNG carrier “Marvel Crane” arrive at the Cameron LNG Terminal by May 30th, which is considered to load and deliver the project’s first cargo. The Cameron terminal commenced LNG production at the first LNG train on 14th, and Sempra Energy has announced its plan to ship the first cargo in the coming weeks. “Marvel Crane” is an LNG carrier that Japan’s Mitsui & Co. is chartering for the project from NYK Line. Mitsui & Co. has inked an about 4-mtpa liquefaction tolling contract with the project. NYK Line’s LNG carrier “Shinshu Maru” constructed for JERA is reportedly heading to the Cameron terminal too.
