Govt of Chattisgarh Extends NMDC's Dantewada Mining Lease for 20 Years

India's NMDC (National Mineral Development Corporation), a state-controlled iron ore producer, has announced that the State Government of Chattisgarh extended the Dantewada mining lease for another twenty years. NMDC produces 24 million tonnes (Mt) at Dantewada of its 33 Mtpa total production.
