London-The European Parliament is urging the European Commission to look closely at banning ships from using heavy fuel oil on Arc- tic shipping routes. A resolution adopted by the foreign affairs and environment committees on Tuesday called on the EU “to speak with one voice and push to keep the Arctic an area of cooperation.”
