Singapore—S&P Global Platts assessed the CIF China 58%-60% Cr high-carbon ferro- chrome price at 65-66 cents/lb on Wednes- day, up from 63-65 cents/lb on December 31, reflecting best bids at 64 cents/lb and best offers at 67 cents/lb. Two producers reported hearing Indian offers concluded at 67 cents/lb CIF China. One said he thought there might have been some deals concluded at the same level, while the other rejected asking prices from Chinese buyers at 64 cents/lb.
