S&P Global Platts assessed the weekly Chinese copper import premiums at $45-$55/mt plus London Metal Exchange cash, C&F China, on Wednesday for LME- registered brands of cathode, unchanged from May 28. Spot trade was thin as buying interest slowed again this week, after picking up briefly last week, as the arbitrage window opened, sources said.
