Hong Kong—Chinese spot treatment and refining charges for imported clean copper ore and concentrates fell to $53-$56/mt and 5.3-5.6 cents/lb, respectively, in the week to August 3, Chinese sources said this week. The charges averaged $54.5/mt and 5.45 cents/lb, down 5 cents/mt and 0.05 cents/lb, respectively, from the preceding week, according to the sources.
