London—The molybdenum oxide spread between Europe and Asia narrowed Tuesday on the back of higher prices in Rotterdam. The S&P Global Platts Daily Dealer Molybdenum Oxide assessment was $11.80-$11.85/lb Tuesday, up from previous $11.70-$11.85/lb. A 20-mt oxide powder sale was reported at $11.80/lb in Rotterdam. Offers in Asia were heard at $11.90/lb and higher in Asia. Market participants agreed there were also fewer sellers in the market compared to the previous week.
