The Asian hot rolled coil market Tuesday remained quiet with no trade heard. Buyers and sellers could not come to terms on price, market watchers said. S&P Global Platts assessed SS400 HRC 3mm thick at $570-572/mt FOB China, with the midpoint of $571/mt, down $1/mt from the previous trading day. The same grade coil was assessed at $580-$582/mt CFR East Asia, unchanged from Monday.
