Deepsea Turkish import scrap prices continued their sharp rise on week as firm demand for Turkish long steel into Southeast Asia and Latin America pulled up scrap prices, sources said. S&P Global Platts assessed Turkish imports of premium heavy melting scrap 1/2 (80:20) at $312.50/mt CFR on Nov 13, up $14.50/mt on week. The index has jumped $30.25/mt over the past month since a recent low point of $282.25/mt on Oct. 8.
