US steel plate prices moved lower on Wednesday but could find support as March scrap prices were likely to settle higher from February. The daily Platts TSI US plate index dropped by $8/st to $664/st on a delivered Midwest basis. Plate prices have been mostly rangebound in the US, trading around the $660-$690/st level since the middle of December 2019.
