The method involves projecting an ornament (1) on a substrate. Outline projection of the ornament is carried out after coloring. A support plate (2) is formed from concrete, steel-reinforced and provided as the substrate. Ornament stones (3) are glued or cemented on the substrate. An interlayer (5) is provided between the ornament stones and the support plate. The interlayer is made from concrete or compensation mass. Recesses (7) are provided in the support plate. The ornament is divided into sections assembled with each other. An independent claim is also included for an ornament.
