Tallgrass, Silver Creek Expand Powder River JV

Tallgrass Energy and private equity-backed Silver Creek Midstream have agreed to expand a joint venture in the Powder River Basin in Wyoming, a play that has seen increased interest and activity from producers. The expanded joint venture, dubbed Powder River Gateway, will own the 80-mile, 100,000 b/d Iron Horse Pipeline, currently under construction, as well as the 70-mile, 90,000 b/d Powder River Express Pipeline and crude oil terminal facilities in Guernsey, Wyoming. Tallgrass will operate the joint venture and own 51% of Powder River Gateway.
