Eagle Ford Shale pure-play Magnolia Oil & Gas Corp. has boosted its 2018 production guidance on better-than-expected production results in the second quarter, and the company is considering some bolt-ons to build the inventory, CEO Steve Chazen said Tuesday. The former chief of Occidental Petroleum Corp., who was leading TPG Pace Energy Holdings Corp., last year clinched a partnership with EnerVest Ltd. to launch the South Texas exploration and production company.
