India: Apr-Oct NP/NPK production up 9.8%

India's April-October NP/NPK production reached 5.3 Mt, up 9.8% year on year, according to FAI data. The rise comes as higher phosphoric acid prices pushed producers to switch to more NPK production from DAP. NP/NPK production from April through March 2018 reached 8.3 Mt, up 4.4% on the same period a year earlier.
