Bangladesh: Four offers in BCIC August 14 prills tender

The Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corp. (BCIC) August 14 tender for the purchase of 50,000 t prilled urea in 50 kilo bags to be shipped to Mongla in two lots within 28 days from letter of credit issuance attracted offers from four suppliers. The lowest offer was submitted by Poton Traders at $346.41/t CFRLO. This was up by $24/t on the low offer from Hydrocarbon in the August 7 BCIC tender for 50,000 t granular urea in bags on the same terms. An award to Hydrocarbon/Gen Trade is suggested in that session.
