Black Sea: Yuzhnyy still void of urea activity

Trade in prilled urea from Yuzhnyy is yet to recommence, but indications of interest from traders did lift the week’s indicative assessment from last week posting. DnieproAzot is yet to restart urea output. OPZ is expected to restart its feedstock ammonia line mid to late August for downstream production into urea. An agreement with Liberty Gaz for the tolling of natural gas into ammonia and urea had been set to be signed and completed this week, according to local reports, but this had yet to be accomplished at time of writing. Other suppliers may now be invited for negotiations (see separate Ukraine item).
