Baltic Sea standard and granular potash netback prices both increased by an average of $1/mt to $195-231/mt FOB and $234-278/mt FOB respectively as a result of lower ocean freight rates to China, Southeast Asia and Brazil. Standard MOP sales as low as $195/mt FOB Baltic reflect the H2 2017 Chinese contract price of $230/mt CFR while spot sales of standard product to Southeast Asia remain as high as around $265/mt CFR.
