Morocco: Acid imports reach record in October

Morocco's October imports of sulphuric acid reached 223,594 mt, the largest monthly volume on record. This left the total for January-October up 5% year on year at 1.22 million mt. The largest source of acid for October was China with 59,800 mt, followed by India with 37,771 mt, Spain with 34,914 mt, and Turkey with 29,692 mt. Other October volumes came from Belgium (19,799 mt), Bulgari (18,676 mt), Poland (15,999 mt), and Germany (6,942 mt). Spain was the largest source for January-October with 258,361 mt, up 6%. Imports from Bulgaria were up 80% to 206,602 mt.
