Morocco’s December imports of sulphuric acid reached 150,262 mt, leaving the total for 2017 up 12% year on year at 1.55 million mt, according to data from IHS GTA. This marked a new record for Moroccan acid imports following a 57% year-on-year increase the previous year to 1.39 million mt, which were by far the highest ever to then.
