Thailand: January-August NP/NPK imports rise 19%

Thailand's NP/NPK imports were 1.65 million mt in the first eight months of 2017, an 19% increase year on year, according to IHS GTA data. The country imported 883,622 mt NPKs in the first eight months of 2017, up 11%. The rise was due to an increase in Chinese shipments by 23% to 516,359 mt. South Korean deliveries reached 247,650 mt, up 12% and Saudi Arabian imports more than doubled to 53,300 mt.
