Japan: Urea imports ahead 11% through July

Japan imported 181,000 mt urea in the first seven months of 2017, up by 10.7% on the same months in the prior year, according to Japan Ministry of Finance data via IHS GTA. Malaysia maintained the lead at 89,000 mt, up 11%, China was ahead 6% to 81,000 mt, and Saudi Arabia was at 5,000 mt from less than 2,000 mt.
