Brazil: Q1 NPS/NPK imports rise 27%

Brazil's NPK/NPS imports in the first quarter of 2017 rose 27% to 463,986 mt, according to the latest customs data via IHS GTA. NPK imports in the first quarter of 2017 were up 36% year on year at 380,738 mt. Imports from Russia jumped to 207,902 mt from 115,506 mt, while shipments from Norway declined 13% to 122,507 mt. March NPK imports fell 4% to 83,248 mt with Russia providing over half at 47,482 mt a 9% decline year on year.
