Spot prices for sulphuric acid sales to the US remained assessed at $35-40/mt CFR US Gulf on a notional basis. US acid demand remained lacklustre, with buyers broadly avoiding the spot market and at least one suggesting that they would be out for the foreseeable future. It has been several weeks since any spot sales to the US were reported.
