India: MMTC LTC urea outcome pending

Further, definite news is still awaited on the progress of the April 22 MMTC tender for long- term supply (LTC) of urea. As indicated in earlier updates, tender-conform proposals were submitted by Fertiglobe, Sabic and Muntajat. Fertiglobe reportedly provided one offer for 500,000 t/year, and an alternative proposal for 1 Mt/year. Sabic’s offer is suggested to have been for 850,000 t/year while the Muntajat quantity is indicated at 600,000 t/year.
