Shell has gone into damage limitation mode after shopping an ex-employee to the Dutch authorities on suspicion of criminal activity in relation to an oil licence sale in Nigeria. The Anglo-Dutch major filed a complaint with the Dutch Public Prosecutor against Peter Robinson, who was Shell's vice president commercial for sub-Saharan Africa before he left the company in 2014.
