Plummeting prices on European natural gas hubs and Asian LNG spot indexes risk pricing some US LNG cargoes out of both markets, reviving industry talk of an imminent global LNG glut. The Cambridge English Dictionary definition of a glut is: “A supply of something that is much greater than can be sold or is needed or wanted”. US LNG cargoes continue to be produced, lifted by shippers and sold into demand markets, suggesting there is no glut to speak of - at least, not yet.
