ADNOC ‘blazes a trail for regional NOCs’ with epic gas pipeline investment deal

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has struck a landmark USD 20.7 billion deal with some of the world’s leading infrastructure investors, sovereign wealth and pension funds to invest in some ADNOC gas pipelines, unlocking value and forging new strategic relationships for the NOC. The size and scope of the transaction, the largest of its kind in the Middle East and the world’s biggest infrastructure transaction so far this year, provides a blueprint for other regional state companies to release much-needed capital locked up in legacy infrastructure.
