INSIGHT: 2019 could have been a year of recovery in Turkey PE/PP despite record low prices

LONDON (ICIS)--It may not feel like it in the immediate aftermath but there were positive signs for the Turkish polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) markets in 2019. The weak global market saw prices for both PE and PP fall to record lows across the globe. The after shocks of the 2018 Turkey economic crash were still evident, as Turkish prices were some of the lowest in the world.
