SINGAPORE(ICIS)--Asia butyl acetate(butac)prices soared to a 23-month high,bolstered by escalating feedstock markets on the back of tight supply,a scenario that is envisaged to be sustained in the short-term.Elevated feedstock prices,particularly n-butanol(NBA)prices in the region as well as northeast Asia resulted in higher offers at a time when key suppliers scoured the market for product.Buying sentiment consequently revved up going into December,propelling market discussions.Constraints in spot cargo availability underpinned the market,extending the recent upward price momentum.
