The present invention relates to a method of producing high-purity butyl acetate from industrial butyl acetate wastes, and high-purity butyl acetate produced thereby. More specifically, the method comprises the steps of: adding a neutralizing alkaline solution to industrial butyl acetate wastes containing butyl acetate, butanol, and water, thereby neutralizing the industrial butyl acetate wastes; after transferring the neutralized butyl acetate wastes to a distillation tank, adding Na_2CO_3 to the distillation tank in order to reduce acetic acid and improve a butyl acetate recovery rate (S20); by conducting distillation in the distillation tank, creating a butyl acetate-butanol layer and a butanol-water layer, and removing the butanol-water layer therefrom (S30); and after repeating the step S30 several times, distilling and purifying butanol and butyl acetate in the distillation tank, thereby yielding high-purity butyl acetate (S40). Since when purifying industrial butyl acetate wastes, the content of acetic acid generated during the purifying process is reduced, the acidity content of butyl acetate complies with the domestic and foreign standards, and can address various problems such as corrosion of equipment in industrial sites, formation of impurities (defective products) due to side reactions when used by mixing with other substances. Furthermore, the present invention can increase production yield and recovery rate of the purified butyl acetate and provides the advantage of producing no impurities in the purified butyl acetate.
