Asia butyl acetate markets braces for slow demand recovery

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Asia's butyl acetate (butac) markets are facing a slow demand recovery that is poised to gather pace on hopes of restocking activity. In key southeast Asia markets, spot butac prices on a CFR (cost and freight) basis averaged at $757.50/tonne as of 31 July, holding on to the previous week’s session and up by $37.50/tonne from month-earlier levels, ICIS data shows.
