Asian MMA supply and demand balanced, supported by PMMA sheets

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Asia’s methyl methacrylate (MMA) supply and demand fundamentals are largely balanced and could remain supported by firm demand for downstream transparent protective sheets to fight the coronavirus spread. In the week ended 14 August, MMA prices for bulk parcels of 500 tonnes and above were at $1,360-1,400/tonne CFR (cost & freight) southeast (SE) Asia, stable from the previous week, according to ICIS data.
