Gazprom prioritises China-focused projects

Gazprom is prioritising strategic projects in east Siberia and Russia’s far east, primarily to support future exports to China. The company outlined its plans after a board meeting on 19 March. Gazprom is fnalising construction of the 2,200km frst section of its 38bn m~3/yr Power of Siberia 1 (PoS 1) pipeline, linking the 1.4 trillion m~3 Chayandinskoye feld in Sakha Yakutia, east Siberia, to the Chinese border. And it is focused on completing the 128MW Atamanskaya compressor station on the Chinese border.
