China’s ambitious plans to build large-scale infrastructure abroad will be implemented in 2025, local politicians say. This governmental strategy will enable Chinese mills to raise their presence abroad and gain ground in export markets, which can save the country’s steel industry suffering from overproduction because of a decrease in construction and, consequently, in consumption of steel products inside the country.
