Export prices for CIS billets have mainly stabilized by mid-November. Strong buying activity seen at the beginning ofthe month has now boiled down to naught. However, producers have already contracted a bulk of December output.Quotes are mainly not expected to grow significantly in the near term, although some suppliers still feel there is aroom to insist on the increase.
