Ukraine boosts European gas imports and continues talks with Russia

Ukraine boosts gas supplies from alternative sources to reduce its dependance on Russian imports, while continuing talks on lower prices with the country. Since June 7, Hungarian gas imports have increased 2.5-fold to 7.5 million cu m per day, according to the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN. There is technical possibility to transport 16 million cu m per day.
