How the EPB will build on the strong foundations of the past 12 months

NEWLY elected English Pharmacy Board member Shilpa Gohil took the reins as chairman of the board at the board's first meeting on 28 June 2012. Ash Soni has been elected vice-chairman. In her acceptance speech Ms Gohil was eager to praise her fellow board members' talents and acknowleged the strong foundation inherited from immediate past chairman Lindsey Gilpin saying: I am immensely excited about working with such a talented and diverse board. Harnessing the enthusiasm for the good of the profession will be a key measure of our success. I am also looking forward to working with the executive team at the Society, who work extremely hard on delivering the activity mandated by the board. I would also like to pay tribute to the immediate past EPB chairman Lindsey Gilpin, who has left a lasting legacy of delivery which is a fantastic platform to build on."
