Funding offered for medical genetics health research

Research groups and organisations are being invited to apply for financial support from the Health Innovation Challenge Fund (PJ, 2 May 2009, p508) to develop innovative healthcare products. The Department of Health and the Wellcome Trust are inviting proposals in a series of themed calls, the first of which is "Advancing genetic discoveries into clinical practice", with funding of up to pound 20m available.
