摘要

The Pharmacists' Defence Association has issued a call to action over the "ridiculous verdict" delivered in the recent criminal proceedings against Elizabeth Lee (PJ, 11 April 2009, p401).Since Mrs Lee was handed a suspended prison sentence in April for a dispensing error that was deemed a contravention of the 1968 Medicines Act, the PDA - whose legal team was responsible for Mrs Lee's case - has been involved in the formulation of a strategy to help prevent a ruling of this kind being repeated.
