PDA to aid dispensing errors campaign

The Pharmacists' Defence Association has written to the Royal Pharmaceutical Society seeking clarification on whether the Society has changed its position on dispensing error logs.The PDA says that the Society's survey to explore pharmacists' views on recording dispensing errors in a log (PJ, 9 May 2009, p544) could lead some pharmacists to believe that it may now take a more lenient approach to pharmacists who choose not to incriminate themselves by not entering details of their errors in logs in the future.
