As the Society launches its major initiative to understand and address the issue of workplace pressures within the profession,it reminds pharmacists support is already on hand through the Listening Friends service.Listening Friends is a free telephone service for pharmacists,offering confidential help and support to anyone suffering from stress.Its team of specially trained pharmacist volunteers are well aware of the particular pressures affecting the pharmacy profession.The service is not restricted to work-related problems,but covers all causes of stress such as ill-health,family issues and bereavement.
