2015 specialty steel bar imported 1.29M tons

According to Korea Iron & Steel Association, Korea’s special steel bar imports in 2015totaled 1,296,620 metric tons, up 19.7 percent from a year ago. The import sharefrom China was 87 percent, while from Japan 10.5 percent, followed by Taiwan with1.2 percent and the EU 0.8 percent, respectively.
