Cystic partially differentiated nephroblastoma is a multilocular cystic Wilms tumor composed entirely of cysts separated by delicate septa. The septal stroma contains small foci of blastema, primitive or immature epithelium, and/or immature appearing stromal cells. Virtually all such tumors are diagnosed in children younger than 24 months and males are affected about twice as often as females.
