Acquired Copy Number Alterations in Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia Genomes

摘要

Cytogenetic analysis of acute myeloid leukemia(AML) cells has accelerated the identification ofgenes important for AML pathogenesis. As shownin a recent scientific study, the use of an unbiasedhigh-resolution genomic screen yields the identifi-cation of genes altered in AML genomes not previ-ously implicated in the disease that may be relevantfor pathogenesis.
