Japex increases shipments of Iraqi crude oil

Tokyo—Japan Petroleum Exploration, or Japex has shipped another 1.5 million barrels of crude from the Gharraf oil field in southern Iraq as its fourth equity sale, bringing its shipment of the grade to 4.7 million barrels so far in fiscal 2014-15 (April-March). The company’s latest equity cargo was loaded on January 6, following its last shipment of 1.7 million barrels in October, a company official said Thursday.
