New York—Singapore cracking margins for Angolan Cabinda have recently improved as a glut of light, sweet crudes in the Atlantic Basin has lowered feedstock costs, an analysis of Platts data shows. Singapore product prices are lower across the board, weighing on yields, with spot market sources citing a supply glut. Singapore 92 RON gasoline, for instance, is averaging $109.26/b so far this August, down $5.41/b year-on-year, while the Singapore jet/kerosene price is down $8.13/b from last year.
